This s my site. It will hold, hopefully, my blog, various bits and pieces I publish, plus anything that catches my attentition. I Hope to post examples of my work, projects underway etc.., so this should be a focal point for all the junk I always mean to do but never quite get around to.

I’m a Software Engineer working in Dublin, specializing in C++ but with branches out to other languages such as Java amongst others, and items on my list to learn would include Ruby, Javascript (properly…) and Groovy (just because there’s a language called Groovy…).

Big fan of FOSS, Linux, Ubuntu and pretty much all related items. I’ll flesh this out more as time goes by.

I’m currently working on a M.Sc. in Software Development from the Open University, and its proving very interesting so far. Intrigued to see where it will end up.

I love gadgets of all kinds, and my latest toy is the G1 Android powered phone, which I’m both loving and hating and will be posting about in the Tech section…
